I am presenting a collection of beautiful Romanian Point Lace(needle lace) which consists of bookmarks, butterflies, Christmas ornaments, doilies, table matts, animals, birds, sea shells, Nativity and much more. The patterns are sold in kits and the largest ones only in patterns(fabric pattern, instructions and the picture of the finished design). Romanian Point Lace is a combination of crochet and needle lace stitches. First the braids/cords are made with a crochet hook; then, they are basted on the fabric pattern and are joined where they touch in order to create a framework. The decorative filling stitches are then worked in open spaces and more elements like connecting bars and rings are added to add to the embellishment of the pattern.
