Growing Business Together Mission Statement The object of the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce shall be to promote and improve trade and commerce and the economic, civic and social welfare of the community. About the Chamber Originally formed in 1950, the Stoney Creek Chamber of Commerce works for sound legislation and efficient adminstration at the Municipal, Provincial and Federal levels of Government. The Chamber offers it’s Members a variety of benefits and networking opportunities. There are group benefit packages available which include life insurance for employers & employees, major medical & dental plan and long term disability plans. Special rates on VISA and Master Card. Regular and annual networking events include breakfast and luncheon meetings featuring informative guest speakers. Annual events include our Annual General Meeting, Golf Tournament, Pool Tournament and Holiday Gathering. Serveral opportunities are available throughout the year to attend ‘After 5' networking events. We also encourage our Members to promote their businesses through our Member to Member program.

Hamilton Food Share‘s purpose is to increase our community's capacity to reduce hunger. We do this by supplying much needed food supplies and short-term storage to food banks and hot meal programs. Additionally, our organization establishes community partnerships, donor relations and fundraising activities that support our food recovery operation. Our support is vital as the resources allocated by Hamilton Food Share defray costs for the emergency food programs and redirect these savings to other program areas. The second purpose of our organization is to work collaboratively across every sector of the community to bring about awareness of hunger, its root causes and the impact it creates for people in need. Mission To diminish hunger in our community by collecting and sharing food and other resources through effective partnerships that strengthen our response to hunger. Vision We envision informed communities actively engaged in the elimination of hunger ensuring all community members have access to adequate, safe and appropriate food choices. Values Statement We believe every individual has the right to daily sustenance and personal dignity. #We value long term vision, sustainability, and approach our mission committed to building awareness of hunger and its root causes. We recognize and acknowledge the individual and collective contributions made to and through our organization. We value an ethical and prudent approach and we demonstrate our integrity through fairness, openness and honesty in our dealings with others.
