There's more than just fishing and hunting at Timber Edge Camps. Families will find plenty of fun things to do. We have our own clean safe beach located in a quiet sheltered bay within full view of the camp. Right beside the water's edge is a well-equipped playground for the children. This bay is also a perfect place to teach youngsters how to safely operate a boat as there is no other traffic here. Maybe a cruise in the paddle boat or a few shots through the basketball hoop will appeal to you. You may want to just go out in the boat without a fishing rod to look for wildlife and enjoy the scenic wilderness surroundings. We have kayak and canoe rentals. Hiking, berry picking, rock hounding and photography are more choices yet! You won't need to leave camp unless you want. Our store carries staple groceries, bait, tackle, ice and T-shirts. If you want something from town, we will gladly pick it up for you. Only 12 miles from Timber Edge is Sioux Lookout which boasts a movie theater, museum, library, golf course, shopping, banking, hospital, horseback riding, and a historical Native "mountain".

Lac Seul Outpost is located in a very remote region of Lac Seul where there are no other lodges or roads. This lets our guests enjoy Ontario's vast pristine wilderness and the best sports fishing imaginable. ac Seul is considered by many to be the best Walleye Lake in Ontario. Not only do our guests catch massive numbers of Walleye’s, our guests have a realistic shot at a 6 to 10-pound brute. The availability of Walleyes this size makes one think what may be lurking near by. Our Walleyes also fight hard and taste great. Our camp is located right in the prime Walleye spawning area for Lac Seul resulting in guests having better Walleye fishing off our dock than they have experienced at past lodges that claim to have great Walleye fishing. Just imagine what the Walleye fishing is like at our hotspots.
