CJMQ 88.9 FM has been on the FM dial at 88.9 since November 11 1995. In June of 1998 we tested and then went to 500 watts of radiated power which enabled us to broadcast to the greater part of the Eastern Townships. In 2007, CJMQ increased its output power to an outstanding 2000 watts! A great milestone for the station. As such CJMQ offers a unique locally produced English broadcast voice, providing a valuable advertising tool for local commerces and merchants. CJMQ is defined as a community radio station, serving the community at large with varied programming to appeal to all age groups and tastes as well as cultural community content.
