She received her Bachelor of Arts from Acadia University ('82), then completed her law studies at Dalhousie University ('85) receiving her Bachelor of Laws Degree. After articling in Enfield, she was admitted to the Nova Scotia Bar in 1986. From 1986 to 1988 Celia worked in the law department of CN Rail in Moncton, New Brunswick and has been in private practice since that time.
