History Patron Heaters was formed from the recognition twenty years ago that the Rental Industry in North America needed a choice of heavy duty construction heaters. Larry Kokkonen decided to answer the challenge to start the quest in Canada with electric heaters, followed by technically innovative propane models. A couple of years later a largely unfamiliar type in the Rental Industry, the indirect fired heater was introduced, and Patron in many ways pioneered the introduction of the concept and type at Trade Shows in Canada and the United States. Gradually Patron became a recognized brand in the industry, and with the involvement of Rentquip, it is poised to further solidify and expand its market share.
