The background of Ambedkar Mission originally started in Vancouver in 1978 as Ambedkar Memorial Association. After one year Mr. Darshan Chaudhary moved from Vancouver to Toronto in June 1979 and Ambedkar Mission was started in the same year with the main objective of propagating the religion and social philosophy of BabaSaheb Dr. B.R Ambedakr. Yogesh Varhade was the chief organizer at that time. Late Mr. Nasib Sallan was its first president along with Ram Parkash Rahul as secretary, Mohan Verdi as Treasurer, late Jit Lal Jhamat as cultural secretary and Darshan Chaudhary as joint secretary.

The Toastmasters CPAC Club is affiliated with the organization of Toastmasters International, where you can learn to be a good communicator and develop to be a good leader. At our club, you will learn by speaking to and working with other members in a supportive environment. Each new member is assigned to an experienced club member as mentor to help you to become familiar with the meeting routines and guide you through your first few speaking exercises. Club meetings are held regularly once a week for about two hours.
