Island Marine Construction Services Ltd. was incorporated in 1995. Ross Walker brought with him over 20 years of experience in the marine industry and recruited a team of skilled, hard-working employees who bring a myriad of experience to high-quality dock building. This is a team that is innovative, solution-oriented and dedicated to creating great docks. Stephen Carter, Operations Manager, brings his finishing carpenter’s eye for detail and perfection to designing and guiding the construction of docks that are pleasing to the eye and built to last. Dave McKerrell, Permits and Foreshore Applications Manager, not only wades through the mire of red tape required to secure all the paperwork necessary to put a dock in place, but is Island Marine’s CAD designer, computer guru, and all-around knowledge bank. Island Marine is dedicated to minimal impact on the environment. All timber materials are treated to Best Management Practice Standards for treated wood in aquatic environments. We are Coast Guard Pollution Compliant and we follow the rules of all legislating bodies for working in a marine environment.

Flotation services for docks and other floating structures include complete removal and replacement of degraded flotation or addition of supplemental flotation to correct lists and low points where necessary. We excel at float home and boathouse levelling.
