Therapeutic Recreation (TR) encompasses activities that touch different areas of the client including physical, emotional, social, cognitive and spiritual aspects. Therapeutic Recreationists have completed a College Diploma or a University Degree specific to the field of recreation. Recreationists work with clients who may be in hospital, Long Term Care, Retirement Homes, aging at home, persons with developmental disability.
