Founded in 1949 in the town of St-Jerome by Adrien Auger, the bakery is acquired in 2006 by Raymond Talbot and his son Guillaume, who own and operate the Renaud bakery (founded 1983). The two bakeries are merged, enabling them to position themselves on the market and compete with multinational enterprises by proposing an alternative to the typical sliced bread that is found in stores.
