Our Team Brief Company History Benjel Consultant Chemists was run for a long time by Mr Luc Salm, a professional chemist who for over 25 years, specialized in the analysis of air quality in residential, commercial and industrial buildings. Now retired, Mr Benjamin Salm took over, with Mr Laurent Groux, Ph., Chemistry, as business partner. Together they have built a solid team of professionals and individuals devoted to the company. Still growing, Benjel’s team includes chemists associated with the Ordre des chimistes du Québec (Quebec Order of Chemists), microbiologists from the Quebec Association of Microbiologists, experienced technicians, and a lab participating in AIHA (American Industrial Hygienist Association)’s EMPAT Program. The majority of the company’s clients are in Greater Montreal, but Benjel experts travel as far as Gatineau, Quebec City and Sherbrooke when their expertise is called upon. From the very beginning, Benjel’s team has made enormous efforts to be attentive to the needs of clients. It is through clear understanding of scenarios that our experts can develop a sampling strategy to provide answers to your questions. Thanks to collaboration and sharing of knowledge, experience accumulated through the years invigorates our dynamic team. Also, our employees regularly participate in external training programs in order to ensure the latest, state-of-the-art service. Our on-site chemistry and microbiology labs allow us to develop and improve our methodologies and create an internal expertise while providing results free of delays associated with subcontractors.
