Patrick Edelmann is born in Switzerland and obtains a diploma in construction from the Swiss Society of Entrepreneurs in 1993. This rigorous training leads him to work as a crew leader in institutional, Industrial construction and highway construction in Switzerland. His arrival in Québec forces him to open Paysagement de l’Edelweiss in 1999 that will then be incorporated in 2002 as Créations et Constructions Edelweiss Inc, when he acquire his general entrepreneur licence with 22 specialized licences. Créations et Constructions Edelweiss Inc. offers high-end landscape architecture services since then. Patrick Edelmann has over 550 projects under his belt and recently with the acquisition in 2010 of a Spider Excavator Machine and a Slope Hydroseeding Machine, Edelweis accomplishes special stabilization work, bioengineering and geotechnical work and emergency mudslide stabilization work for cities, government and the Ministry of Transportation.
