Dr. Elham Tayefi is an award-winning dentist who has been practicing aesthetic, restorative, endodontic, prosthetic and preventative dentistry for over 10 years, and is now a Certified Implant and Invisalign® Provider. After graduating from the Shahid Beheshty Dental School in Iran with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS), Dr. Tayefi attended the University of Manitoba, where she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) and certification in Nitrous Oxide. Dr. Tayefi is an active member of the dental community, belonging to the Iranian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the Academy of Implant Dentistry. Dr. Tayefi has published several articles and papers related to Dentistry in various magazines and journals including an Iranian magazine called Dandanpezeshki Emrouz. At the University of Manitoba, Dr. Tayefi received an Academy of General Dentistry Award for commitment to the dental profession. She was also honoured with a Golden Scaler Award acknowledging her outstanding achievements as a student. In 2005, Dr. Tayefi’s talent for perfecting smiles with veneers landed her a spot as a dentist on a TV show in Dubai. Dr. Tayefi is fluent in both English and Farsi, and currently resides in Richmond Hill. When not designing youthful, healthy smiles for her patients, Dr. Elham Tayefi enjoys time with her husband and family, pottery, and painting.
