A major tourist attraction for the region, the Revelstoke Railway Museum is operated by The Revelstoke Heritage Railway Society, a local, non-profit organization. The museum presents the history of the Canadian Pacific Railway in the Columbia Mountains, as well as the role the railway and its workers, have played in building Canada as a nation. A large collection of artifacts, historical photographs, artwork, full-sized rolling stock are displayed, including a steam locomotive and diesel 5500. The museum is a non-profit, charitable organization that benefits greatly from donations and contributions from many organizations, government agencies, and individuals. An Endowment Fund, administered by the Revelstoke Community Foundation, provides an option for memorial and sustainable donations.

Art First is an independent gallery in Revelstoke, BC, owned and operated by the North Columbia Artists' Cooperative. Art First! offers patrons the broadest selection of fine art in the Revelstoke area. It offers works by 16 of the region's best painters, sculptors, jewellers and photographers. The North Columbia Artists' Cooperative was established in early 2010 to provide members of the burgeoning artistic community in Revelstoke, British Columbia, with a permanent venue for retail sales of their artistic products.
