The Anderson family has been serving Renfrew and Area famlies since 1950 when Harvey Anderson partnered with Ken Cochrane to form the Cochrane - Anderson Funeral Home located at 175 Argyle Street South in Renfrew. Harvey and Ken enjoyed a good professional and community-based relationship. Harvey was active in the Renfrew Kiwanis Club and Sunday School Superintendent of Renfrew Presbyterian Church while Ken was active in the Renfrew Lions Club and an organist at Renfrew Presbyterian Church. Both Gentlemen served there community well over many years. In 1986, Kirk Anderson returned home to become a partner with his father Harvey. Together, they moved the funeral home to it's present location at 22 Raglan Street South, in Renfrew. Harvey and Kirk enjoyed working closely together helping others with compassion and professionalism. Harvey Anderson passed away in 2005 followed eight months later by his loving wife Ada. The tradition of family and community service established by Harvey, Ada and Ken is continued today by Kirk, his wife Kathryn Neill and their children Lindsay, Sara, and Drew.
