Although we’d love to tell you a story about a farmer with a flair for design, the true inspiration for our name came from our first store in Vancouver, B.C. Opened in 1990, it was a beautiful space with rustic wooden floors and characteristics of an old barn. We now have more than 50 stores across Canada, we offer a stunning array of contemporary furniture, home décor, and accessories that will look right at home in your space – whether it’s a compact condo, a sprawling estate, or a rural retreat, you know, like a barn. Some of the pieces we carry are the result of longstanding local relationships, while others have been discovered through extensive travel.
