Incorporated – January 1984 In 1984 floating docks were constructed by members and put in near where the present Brickyard Marina is. They were put in prior to the Gathering of the Clans (July 1) that year as dock space for visitors. In 1985 the club obtained a 3 year lease on the old lobster factory building across the street from the present Yacht Club. Also this year plans were progressing for a full service marina at our present location. In 1987 - A grant from government was approved for $50, 000 toward a new marina.
