At Papillon Family Health we collaborate with Psychologists when a Psychoeducational Assessment is required or requested by the child’s family or school. During school years, it is common for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to be assessed to give schools a detailed picture of the specific learning difficulties present. Each child has unique needs, so this type of assessment helps educators provide the correct type of support, conditions and equipment to promote success in the school environment. A Psychoeducational Assessment can also help to inform a child’s Applied Behavioural Therapy (ABA), especially if a secondary learning difficulty is diagnosed.

A full diagnosis and support service that helps parents navigate the information and services available to create the best therapy program for their child.

To learn more about how our services can support your child, we offer a complimentary introductory phone call with a Senior Clinic Manager. This is your chance to ask questions about our services, pricing, and how we can create a personalized plan for your child’s unique needs.

In 2020, Papillon Family Health expanded to offer Occupational Therapy (OT) services, meeting the growing needs of children in our community. Our OT programs are designed to help children build crucial life skills such as coordination, motor function, and sensory processing, all in a nurturing, child-focused environment. While OT services are offered on its own, it also can complement our established ABA and Speech Therapy (SLP) services, allowing families to access all therapies at one location if needed.

Our speech therapists collaborate closely with ABA and Occupational therapists to craft tailored therapy solutions that address different aspects of a child’s development. This coordinated approach not only simplifies scheduling for families but also enhances the effectiveness of the therapies.
