Brian’s Towing was formed in 1967 by husband and wife team Brian and Dorothy Fulford. They started as a service station and within a month had their first tow truck on the road. Their son David joined the team at an early age. In 2005 local Port Perry resident Bob Hoare purchased the Light and Medium duty divisions from the Fulfords. Keeping it in the family, he brought with him his son Lee, tow operator and Lee’s wife Rebecca as dispatch and office management. We are very fortunate to still have Dave with us as an invaluable part of our team, as well as a great group of guys that love the job, are mechanically inclined and customer-service driven. Our business has continually grown since Bob took ownership. Our fleet stays updated with the latest equipment. Our most recent addition is a second Freightliner M2 Flatbed to handle the ever-increasing number of AWD & 4WD vehicles on the road, as well as specialty equipment and classic cars. We have also added more drivers to ensure that we are providing our customers with the best service possible, as fast as possible!

You might say Robert E. Lee started his lengthy career in the trucking business by following the trail of breadcrumbs! Robert learned to drive a truck at the tender age of 16, and by 18, he owned his own rig. The truckin' bug got under his skin, and he quickly got himself a second one. Then he did a run of bread crumbs to Ohio, purchased a third truck and started a transport company, which he owned until 1993. Lee, Port Perry Trailer Rentals runs a fleet of over 200 trailers and has been around since 1993. Robert is a licensed Crane Operator and has many years of roof truss hauling experience. Tractors are late model tandem axle Macks.
