Several have been manning key positions in large Avionics companies and have been successfully selling and installing varying avionics products for many years. Vince Scott Founder, President & PRM Midland Instruments: As one of three founding members of Midland Instruments Ltd., Vince Scott has 25 years of experience in the Avionics Maintenance field. Vince left his position as President of Western Avionics - the largest avionics company in Canada - to partner with Robert Gow and Don Poirier in the formation of this company. As an Avionics College graduate in 1989 and with his Avionics background and knowledge, Vince holds the Transport Canada licenses required to be the Person Responsible for Maintenance (PRM) for Midland Instruments. Don Poirier Founder, VP Sales Midland Instruments In 1975, Don started out in the avionics field as a lead hand assembler in a manufacturing company. He eventually worked successfully in several management roles including Program Manager for military programs, Avionics Supervisor in Avionics and Mechanical Design, and EMI hardening. Don held the position of Director of Sales for Western Avionics, and resigned his position there to take on a founding member role in our Sales and Marketing division.
