2020 was my first season camping since I was a kid. I had such a great time at Bruce Haven. The people were all so nice and always willing to help. Can’t wait for the 2021 season to start

If you want BANG for your buck.. either seasonal or just for a wknd COME VISIT US! I am a new seasonal this year ,and have been turned into what I see as part of the Bruce Haven Family . It is a great place to either have a quiet, relaxing day and enjoy some time away, and have some fun around the fire at night. As in every campground there are always certain people who can cause problems ( once in while) for others ( excessive noise etc ) but they are swiftly dealt with and the day goes on without a hitch. There are lots of children around, able to run free and just be kids in a safe evironment without parents having to bite their nails off worried if they are ok... There are always eyes on them from some angle and always someone who will jump to help if they fall and scrape a knee. If you come with some common sense and respect for others ..... you wont want to leave !

Even with covid putting a damper on the start of the season we were able to still have a great year. Everyone respected the covid rules but was still able to have fun. Thank god it doesn’t take long to get rid of the campers who don’t understand what family camping means. A few highlights were the fireworks on Canada day. Baby lions for an afternoon to take pictures with. Bouncy castle for the kids. Water trampoline in the pond. Our kids had so much fun. The ice-cream was delicious. Very affordable. We could buy ice. Hotdogs. Marshmallows. Wood. Eggs. Etc without even leaving the campground. Our kids always had something to do. So many kids of all ages. Can’t wait till next year.

Bruse haven camp ground has been the best 5 years for our family. People are so friendly and caring. There has been a couple Of bad apples but Ann and Doug deal with the issues really fast, love them for that but my kids can’t get enough of the fun and games and what the park offers. it’s a family camp ground with non stop fun. There is so much to do if you want to participate. We have bingo, paintball, swimming, fishing, outdoor games, bouncy castle, ghost hunting, water trampoline, cable ride, and so much more it’s home away from home, pot lucks, pig roast and more. If you want a family environment this is the place to go. Not to mention affordable for most any family. Thank you karrie and Jason

Let’s begin this review with stay away from here!!! Back on April 29 we decided to purchase a trailer ($5,000)on a lot ($1750) plus for an additional $200 and visitor pass for the whole season. Total of $6,950. The trailer needed a lot of work but based on what Ann and Doug has told us it was not a problem to get the trailer to immaculate condition and how happy we would be with it. And that Doug was going to be completing all the work that it required. First weekend came around for the park to open and for us to go to the trailer packed everything up all excited we had a 2hr drive but totally worth it to enjoy the trailer again! We arrive there just to find out it wasn’t doneg bathroom not consumed no water toilet not even set up!! We spend the weekend sleeping in my crv! Fine it’s ok let it go one weekend, weekend 2: still lots of things not completed I suffer from sever asthma copd and can’t be around mould (which I made sure to tell them this prior to purchasing) Weekend 3: most things completed I guess when the we’re replacing the kitchen area somehow he displaced the actual aluminum on the trailer which creates a huge gap and an open area, shouted Doug immediately he grabbed a hammer walked around the trailer and hammered it in said all taken care of!! That was Friday when we got there. This weekend we had brought u the b iffy atv and dirt bike. This is the reason we picked this parked along cane Ann saying dune buggy is to loud fix it or it’s not allowed back. So you see we haven’t been back in 5 weeks. We went back up this passed weekend july24/2020 we had a few extra people come up this weekend figured good time to get in and have some family time,! Still certain things still not finished not even talked about or asked us about. I had to put down the table bed first time since we actually had to low and behold the part Doug hammered I had gotten wet and wrecked the wall. We brought up the same dirt (which is my sons) and sure enough down comes Ann to complain that the dirt bike is just to loud. (People had been riding ALL DAY) when she came to talk to me, I expressed I was sorry for the inconvenience. Trying to keep the peace right! At that point I said Ann there’s things that needing fixing and quickly due to my health I can’t have them carry on! We agreed aug 8 Doug would fix our trailer. She tried to tell me due to Doug’s arm injury (which he had befor me purchasing) hes limited to what and when he does things a sin he’ll do it during the week when no one is there to over see it. However all weekend long he’s riding around on a atv cutting down trees moving trailer and doing what ever else! Ann sent me a msg unrelated to anything with me and mine. When I asked what would happen with the visitors pass if they cant come in? And if aug 8 we would still have the trailer fixed she then decided she no longer wants to sell me the trailer. To top it off she’s going to decide on a amount that she sees fit for my refund!! Stay away from this camp ground when your just trying to relax and honestly have a quiet down time this is not the place so intrusive on your site!! No privacy! Doug’s constantly asking for a beer! Money hungry is all these 2 are!!!! And honestly the world is already difficult why be this way!! Disgusting human behaviour!!

Maybe if you didn’t have a drunk frest and followed the Rules you wouldn’t have been kicked out end of story

These people are absolutely the most terrible campers that camped this year. Rude. Arrogant. Not friendly. Drunk all the time. Urinating outside in day light. Parked on neighbours lot because they had too many guests. Drinking and driving. Drove motorized equipment while drink putting children and families at risk. Dangerous in a family campground. Told campers to f*ck off. Everyone was glad to see them gone. All I can say is thank god in grey hound they are gone.

Pay your bill and they wouldn’t have to hold your stuff if you pay they give and maybe if you didn’t be the trailer tramp you would be still here and keep your drugs an alcohol to you self
