The Private Dinner we looked forward to was never suppose to be like this. From the introduction via email, we were impressed. The Menu we transformed together had us looking forward to this weeks prior. The night of the event, started off with a professional greeting to a relaxed, professional in our hotel room. Course after course were impressive, the highlight, Panko crusted Lamb with Toasted Quinoa & Baby Carrots - we were in awe!! Every detail was perfected and we highly recommend Chef Michael Anderson.

We have been disappointed with the restaurants here in Canmore, as we own a second home here. We looked into different dining options & came across Bow Valley Gourmet. We were surprised at the different menus offered, as they all seemed up to date and high quality. We were not disappointed - Chef/Owner Michael Anderson handled every detail and replied back to our emails quickly. When he arrived at our home, he came with everything right down to the fork. He created a meal in my kitchen that no restaurant in Canmore could deliver - The AAA Alberta Beef Tenderloin was SO well prepared you could cut it with a fork! Bow Valley Gourmet is a must when in Canmore - we will be making reservations again!

We had a great time with Chef Michael Anderson, he creates some incredible creative food. The dinner that he catered for myself and 7 of our friends in our Hotel room was absolutely AWESOME! The highlight of the night was his Southwestern Bacon wrapped Lobster Tail. It may have been one of the best things I have ever eaten. This was the general consensus between all 8 of us! Bow Valley Gourmet is a hidden gem in a town that is flooded with mediocre restaurants. We look forward to more private dinners with Chef Michael Anderson!

We wanted a Caterer for our Wedding that was creative, open minded and offered healthy options. This is tough in Canmore, but we found Chef Michael Anderson and his company Bow Valley Gourmet. They exceeded our expectations and many of our guests have hired Bow Valley Gourmet for there own events. Chef Michael Anderson changes with the seasons and we will enjoy the services of Bow Valley Gourmet many times into the future. Thank you Chef Mike for making our Wedding a very special day!

We looked thruout Canmore for a Chef that would cater to our special needs - Gluten-Free, Dairy-Free and offer us healthy foods. Chef Michael Anderson created 4 seperate menus and included a complimentary tasting. Which was done on a highly professional level. We recommend Bow Valley Gourmet to anyone having there Wedding in the Canmore area.

Chef/Owner Michael Anderson knows his stuff! His Crab Cakes are some of the best I have ever had. I lived on the East coast for years and Michael Anderson's Crab Cakes could win awards on the coast. Put him in-land and in-the-mountians where there is nothing that compares. You will understand better once you have tried them for yourself. It brought me to writing a positive recomendation, which is something I have never done before!

Chef and Owner Michael Anderson arrived early to set-up. Our family of 30 people of all ages agreed this was the best meal we had all week. For the price, it was better than all 3 restaurants we tried in the area. No doubt in my mind Chef/Owner Michael Anderson is one of if not the BEST CHEF in the area! My family and I highly recommend Bow Valley Gourmet for any function.

Rolling the dice at restaurants I've never heard of in Canmore is over! Chef Michael Anderson will help you create a menu that you want. We had 6 friends and our conversations about the food continue today. Incredible Chef! We all had a night to remember and we highly recommend Bow Valley Gourmet over any restaurant in Canmore!

Chef/Owner Michael Anderson gave me free range and helped me plan out the BEST employee food gathering we have had in years. He worked with me and hit our budget. The Smoked N.Y. Strips that he was grilling to order were out of this world! I would say Bow Valley Gourmet is the Best Catering Company in the surrounding area. There is no other choice!

I hired Bow Valley Gourmet by good word of mouth. I had never done something like that before. I wanted a romantic dinner on Valentine's Day. The Chef/Owner Michael Anderson offered me 4 menus. I honestly had trouble making up my mind. I went with a 4 course dinner that blew my girlfriend away! We had Tuna for an entree, that was cut into a heart shape. The flavors from course to course were diverse and obviously made by a true professional. In the end we paid about the same as any restaurant in the area in the privacy of our own suite. I would highly recommend Bow Valley Gourmet for any event, you will be hard pressed to find another Chef in the Bow Valley that offers the flexablity & creativity that he does.
