This company provided the worst moving experience I’ve had in 30 years! It took them one month to deliver the first batch of my things; another month to deliver the left-over they forgot the first time; and my car arrived a few days after that. The car had a lot of extra mileage on it with no explanation. Can you imagine being without your bed and your car for two months?! Horrible. The Principal (Ms. N.O.) seems to control communication, slowing things down. Sometimes it took 2 weeks for a reply. It’s like nobody else was allowed to reply unless she said so. The Principal became extremely unprofessional when I, and other customers based on other reviews, complained about the poor service. She turns things against the customer being so upset rather than dealing with the mistakes made by her staff and making reparations for it. Then she responds with utmost rudeness and threatens to never make contact again so she doesn’t have to deal with paying out claims. Stay away from this company and if you’re too late and got involved via one of their partner companies, then get the Better Business Bureau involved because otherwise you will get no action.

Great company, very experienced staff, they went out if their way to get the job done. I moved from Georgetown, Ontario to Chemainus (Vancouver Island) BC in March this year. The driver went above and beyond to ensure my goods arrived on the day promised, everything went without a hitch. Nothing broken or damaged. GREAT JOB!!!!

OMG- RUN !!!!! I hired this company because they had a A+ Rating on the BBB. They did not deliver my stuff for 2 months !!!! When I finaly received it they had upped the bill saying they " forgot" to add a fuel surcharge and tried to scam me and up the already over inflated bill. They charged me 1500.00 for packing-the worst pack job- open poorly taped boxes, re packed boxes with broken items. Whats worse- Is they sub contracted my move to a different company without my knowledge or consent. They lied to me over the 2 months as to how come this is taking so long and were is my stuff?? Finaly I discovered it was sitting in Ontario for 2 months, after they kept telling me its on its way ! When it finally arrived, they demanded payment before the truck was unloaded then as you may have guessed---- Yup Broken damaged treasures and missing boxes. The Owner M*** ******* could care less and then asked for more money. No concessions made to fix the problem I am devastated and out 5 grand ! Horrible- Heartless & carless devious company- RUN !!!!!

NEVER use Collins Mehling Transfer (Bekins) for your move, EVER. Nearly every piece of furniture we had has been damaged. We had two desks, 2 coffee tables, 4 end tables, a couch, an ottoman, a bed, and a large art piece destroyed. Our plastic moving bins were shattered and all of the contents were scratched and broken. Our cardboard moving boxes had holes punched through them. Our TV was completely smashed. The president, Michael Mehling, has been ignoring our calls and emails for over six weeks. His office told me they would have him call me back "that afternoon" once he was back in the office, then I found out that he was away on vacation for two weeks. NEVER get involved with this company. We purchased extra insurance and provided a very detailed claim with pictures and information, but the company has ignored us ever since they received the information. Choose another moving company, and make sure that the company that you choose is not outsourcing to Collins Mehling Transfer (Bekins)!

They are not Bekins in Canada. Numerous complaints to US office about them and there is nothing the US office can do. They did not honour contract,increased the quoted cost, did not hounour insurance, lost goods, terrible service, driver hired rubbies to help and misrepresented themselves as the Canadian Bekins Moving Company.

Stay away from this moving company. I had the worst experience ever. Didn't fulfill their contract and I had to pay extra $400 on the top of their already expensive service. Usual con artists.

This company moved my husband and I across Canada (from Ontario to BC). They provided us with the most comprehensive quote. We emailed them many times and they were very patient. During the move they were professional, friendly and relaxed. Our stuff came a few days late, but that is to be expected when you move in the winter. They gave us a small discount and didn't charge us for a few "extras". They were very quick moving us in, and very careful with our stuff. I would definately use them again. I couldn't find any recommendations on the internet for them, or for any other company, so wanted to write this review. Bekins was 5 star for us.
