Down East Coffee started roasting coffee in 1996. Since, it has been providing friendly service and extraordinary coffee to homes, inns, beds & breakfasts, cafés, galleries, restaurants, professional offices, and small businesses across Canada from its roasting house in Notre-Dame, New Brunswick. In the quiet setting of this rural community, we roast in the warmth of a traditional pièce-sur-pièce cedar log building. Onsite, you will also find Café Down East, an in-house espresso bar and retail outlet of freshly roasted coffees and assorted teas. Down East has a coffee kiosk in Festival Hall of the downtown Moncton Market. Drop by on Saturday mornings to pick up beans or to enjoy your favourite brew. The Market is renowned, popular, and open year round. Over 150 local farmers, food producers, and craft people offer local products.
