Established in 1993, our program is designed to educate youth in theatre arts in a positive, fun atmosphere. Our goal is to encourage our students to grow as actors and as individuals. Our classes range in age from 8 to10, 11 to 13 and 14 to 18 yrs. Students learn basic acting techniques including Improv, Voice, Movement, Character Development, Stage Presence and Theatre Terminology. Students also develop Self-Confidence and a Variety of Social and Life Skills. Classes are one hour a week held once a week for 34 weeks from September to June. We also stage 3 productions each year. Students must audition for roles and all roles are speaking roles. You will never just be in the chorus. Rehearsals are held on a seperate day from classes where they can receive up to 30 extra hour or rehearsal instruction. That's more training time than most drama schools offer!
