For 55 years, iconic interurban tram cars transported people throughout the Lower Mainland, from Steveston to the Fraser Valley. One of these tram cars, the 106-year old Interurban 1220, is now housed in a pretty light-filled building on the corner on No.1 Road and Moncton Street.

Get hands-on with our new mobile discovery corner and make sure you pick up a special spring break Steveston History Hunters scavenger hunt that will also have you exploring the Steveston Museum & Visitor Centre.

BURNABY VILLAGE MUSEUM

THE SEA OF SKY GONDOLA

Your visit to this place will be worth it as the sea to sky gondola’s forested trails are the perfect backdrop for unshaped play time in nature, and the summit’s viewing platform’s great views is a great place to break out the selfie stick to get some candid family pictures.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU FOR YOUR PROM LIMO

il y a un mois

The prom season is around the corner! A memorable prom is everyone’s dream! Everyone looks forward to dressing their best and dancing the night away.

WHAT TO BRING WITH YOU FOR YOUR PROM LIMO?

Booking a prom limo is definitely a great idea as it relieves the stress of having to find transportation to and from the prom. However, if you are wondering about where to get the best limousine in Abbotsford, don’t worry much. East-West Limousine in Abbotsford offers amazing VIP limo services.

Their chauffeurs have been trained to ensure passenger safety first and will surely take care of you while traveling.

Now, that you have managed plan your prom, here are a few things that you need to bring along with you in case of an emergency.

1. CHANGE OF WARDROBE:

Even though dressing up and wearing fancy clothes make you feel like a star, it must be admitted that a suit and a prom dress are not really the most comfortable pieces of clothing to wear. Usually, most of the proms have after proms and a lot of students attend other functions after the prom as well. For this main reason, it is a good idea to bring a change of clothes and shoes with you.

2. AN EMERGENCY KIT:

Pack an emergency kit in your prom limo just in case of an emergency. The emergency kit includes first aid items as well as those items that might help you in any case of a wardrobe malfunction. A few things that you can include in this kit are pain relievers, motion sickness, medication, stain removers, safety pins, among others.

3. REFRESHMENTS:

We are sure you don’t want your prom limo to be a boring one. In fact, you should plan to make the most of it and get your prom party started even earlier. Usually, most limousines have a bar area, so it is kind of easy to bring some refreshments along with you and set them up in the limo.

However, don’t stick to just water when you are in such a luxurious car. Plan of bringing some sparkling non-alcoholic champagne, ciders, or punch! You will surely get the feeling you will be seeking around. Alcohol is not permitted in limos so be very careful about that.

4. ENTERTAINMENT:

Though your prom limo will have speakers and television inside with it if you want, you can bring your own entertainment equipment. If your preference is in listening to your own tunes, bring your iPod along with you to give yourself a party mode. You can, in fact, bring along a few fun games that will make your ride go by quicker and allow you to have some fun on the way to your prom.

5. CASH OR A CREDIT CARD

Cash or a credit card that we must take everywhere, no matter what. You never know what happens and when, so you always need to be prepared. Take some cash or a credit card along with you as a safety precaution. If you are going out alone, you need to make sure you have enough cash to pay.

The necessities of the prom limo end here and with it start your prom limo fun. Have fun, people!

7 GORGEOUS-LOOKING WEDDING CAR DECORATION IDEAS

2016-05-06

When it comes to wedding limo decoration, no one can beat a girl in generating decorative ideas. However, you can also seek for an expert flower decorator’s advice on it. During wedding seasons, they are equipped with so many types of flowers. Florists can help you choose the best combination with multiple choices.

No matter which car you own, it will always look good after the decoration. However, if you are planning for a lavish-style homecoming for your better half, do give a consideration to Limo services. The limo in itself is a royal voyage. After decoration, it is a cherry on a cake.

Let us tell you top 7 decorating ideas to make your Limo look gorgeous;

GO FLOWERLESS

Use window stickers: I would personally go for heart shapes and smiley and some beautiful romantic or romantically funny quotes to make the day even more special. Select quotes online and ask your decorator to use them and stick them to the windows artistically. Use lots of heart shapes in different sizes, or if you are a colorful person from the heart, use different colors as well.

Use Ribbons: Select ribbons that compliment your limo color and convert them into little bows and stick them in different areas of the limo, like, the doors, bonnet, and rear side.

GO WITH FLOWERS

Go for two: Flowers are always the best option, when it comes to decorating anything. You can choose two different colors, combine them and stick them to the limo. For example, green and white, purple and white. Any color will go best with white and will look classic.

Try white daisies, along with its green leaves. Ranunculus, Irises, and Roses are a few names to take when it comes to limo decorations for the weddings.

Go for multiple: You can choose different contrast shades and make your limo look funky.

Along with Posters: Use a poster at the rear end of the limo and decorate the corners with flowers and ribbons. That would be enough.

Bunch of Flowers: Get multiple types of flowers, or use two different colors that compliment each other and the limo as well, attach them at the front of the limo and you are good to go.

WEDDING THEME

Play safe: Most women love to go with the theme of their wedding. For women with that kind of nature, you must play safe and choose the limo decoration color similar to the wedding theme. Guests will woo your management skills.

As mentioned earlier, flowers are the always best option to decorate anything. However, those who are restricted budget-wise can take ideas from the other tips as well.
