Deborah Landers was born in beautiful Digby, Nova Scotia, and now makes New Brunswick her home. She considers herself a contemporary artist taking in the abundance of natural beauty each province provides. She believes this is a large part of what inspires her.

Deborah’s mediums of choice are acrylics and oils. Included in her work are landscapes, seascapes, stills, abstracts as well as modern and realism most of which are created from sketches and photographs that she has taken. Deborah is mainly a self-taught artist, but has taken workshops in Nova Scotia and here in New Brunswick. She has produced various works for non-profit organizations as well as works for private collectors.
