34 Years ago, when Audi McBride left Mt. Hope, Ontario and headed west, she had no idea what a crazy and wonderful life she would find in the foothills of southern Alberta!! Blaming it on fate and great luck, she met and married Professional Steer Wrestler Mark Roy. While enjoying life on the road with her husband, Audi noted that something was missing for the wives of cowboys – unique, classy western wear. Busy with babies – Bryn born in 1988, and Denver in 1993, and travelling with her husband who was the 1991 & 1992 Canadian Steer Wrestling Champion AND 1992 World Champion Steer Wrestler, Audi chose to wait a few years to bring her dreams to fruition. However, in 1993, Audi decided to fill the western wear void for women, and Classic Rodeo was born.
