Anita began her dance training at the age of 6 with the Doris Sitter School of Dance in Moose Jaw. She studied ballet, tap and jazz and completed all the exams in each discipline. To further her ballet training, she studied with Ellen Andrews in Vancouver B.C. With the guidance of Doris Sitter, Anita obtained her Teaching Certificate with the C.D.T.A. for tap. She then moved to Oakville, Ontario, where she obtained her Ballet Teaching Certificate with the R.A.D. Anita has been teaching at the Doris Sitter School of Dance for twenty years. She has also adjudicated many competitions in Manitoba, Alberta and Saskatchewan
