Rev. Mary Wood at her installation on April 13, 2014 by Rev. Robert Brumet Mary Wood was ordained as a Unity minister in June 2005. She then served as the senior minister at Unity of Fort Wayne Spiritual Center in Fort Wayne, Indiana for six years. She resigned from that position in December 2011 and returned to Burlington, Ontario on February 1, 2012. When she came across the border and saw the Canadian flag flying, she knew she was "back home." Along with speaking at several Unity centres in this area, she organize da study group, Unity Burlington. After two years of inspiring discussions, this group discontinued early in 2014. Mary was installed as the permanent part-time minister at Unity of Mississauga on April 13, 2014 by Rev. Robert Brumet. Mary is active in the self-help community of people who stutter, and has presented workshops in Canada, the United States, and Europe. "Through Unity teachings, I have come to know that stuttering was a gift in my life, and was the gateway to ministry - something which was a surprise to me."
