The Municipality of Messines is located in the heart of the Vallée-de-la-Gatineau, about 115 kilometers north of Canada's capital and about twenty kilometers south of the City of Maniwaki. Located between the highway 105 and the beautiful Lake Blue Sea, it has been for decades the venue for thousands of vacationers. Its territory is also dotted with many other bodies of water, including the Small and the Large Cedar Lake, and Lake Grenon, which was built a center of outdoor and camping.
