The McBride and District Public Library has been proudly serving the McBride, BC community for over 50 years, starting from a small association of 60 members with no building, to what it is today. The Library is open 33 hours a week during the winter (regular hours), generally from the week of September 1st to July 1st. During the summer, thanks to student funding, we are open longer (from the week of July 1st to September 1st). The Library also has a "branch" location in Dome Creek, the Lena Schultz Reading Room, to serve the residents at the west end of the District. Valley Museum & Archives Related content Contacts.
