Michaela Davidson is the resident artist of her Duncan and Lake Cowichan Galleries on Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Both Galleries have many wonderful treasures and people can always find something to accommodate their pocketbook. Michaela’s original paintings, Giclee Limited Edition prints, cards, stained, fused and slumped as well as original designed silver, crystal, and glass jewelry are featured. She also carries blown glass, pottery, silk scarves, pearls, amber, gold and silver jewelry, Bulova watches and many other gifts. Both Art Galleries also do quality custom framing, and have excellent pricing for wholesale framing for artists and photographers. (See our framing page for additional information.) Bob and Michaela Davidson have developed a unique and beautiful Gallery in Lake Cowichan, which visitors claim is a feast for the eyes. Stained glass and sculptures surround a whimsical pond and visitors are welcome to tour the gardens. A cedar door with a large stained glass window of the lake and trees, as well as two large matching windows greet you as you approach the Gallery. The entire building boasts 17 stained glass windows. Michaela and her husband also reside on the property. Directions to the Lake Cowichan Gallery are as follows: Take the Trans Canada Highway North from Victoria and turn West on Highway 18, just past Duncan. Drive 26 km (approximately 20 minutes) to Lake Cowichan, pass over a bridge and another kilometer farther there is a large High School. Turn left into the High School, and the minute you turn you will see the Gallery at the top of the hill.
