Hope Reins is a not-for-profit organization established in 2011 and run by a dedicated team of staff and volunteers. Among several collaborations, Hope Reins and The Phoenix Centre for Children & Families in Pembroke provide support to clients of all ages that have physical, mental, emotional issues and limitations in Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) and Equine Assisted Therapy (EAT) Programs. Participants discover the skills required to engage with horses in a unique learning environment. Our formative setting focuses on building communication and relationship skills; participants experience physical, mental and emotional changes that bring a renewed sense of self-confidence, healing and awareness.
