The owners of The Beachside, the Cependa's, carefully selected the location to build their dream. They were excited to secure such a picturesque setting on Wapasu Lake – as it is the only spring fed, sandy beach, fresh water lake in a nature conservancy off the Yellowhead Highway from Lloydminster to Edmonton. Wapasu lakefront is a terrific place for recreation or relaxation on a summer day. The park has a cookhouse, picnic tables, fire pits, ball diamond and horse shoe pits. The amazing sandy beach is ideal for sunbathing, sand castle building, a game of volleyball and swimming.
