Situated in the heart of Prince Edward County, Ontario, where Benway Road meets the Millennium Trail, we focus on small-batch, single-vineyard wines of exceptional quality. We use grapes from our estate in Prince Edward County and from a select few growers across Ontario who grow premium grapes on outstanding sites. Our wines are unique each vintage and tell a story of their soils. Each wine is true to its terroir with strong individuality, structure and character. Made only in small batches – some as few as 10 cases – and most available exclusively at our winery or direct to our wine club members. Visit our in-winery tasting bar every Friday thru Sunday, 11am to 5pm. Other days by chance or appointment. Coming with a larger group? The Lacey Family dug into the Hillier clay-loam soils of their property on Closson Road in 2003 to plant what would now become nine acres. They made their first wines in 2007. The focus is on hand crafted, small production wines from their estate vines. Winemaker Kimball Lacey is sinking in his County roots deeper every year while Liz lacey runs the well-appointed tasting room and retail store. Andrew Gray is the head of marketing and Charles Lacey turned 90 this year and is working the field and promoting the winery.
