Shakespeare by the Sea excites the audience with the wonder of words and the unique joy of live performance, while shedding light on the human condition with the greatest plays in the English language, in great settings, for a great price. Our outdoor summertime home is The Cambridge Battery in Point Pleasant Park, a large urban park in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Our 82-seat indoor space is The Park Place Theatre, located in the lower parking lot of the park. It is used for indoor performances in the fall/winter/spring, and rainy day shows in the summer.
