John Panter was born in Toronto, and moved to Halifax in 1980. Beginning with wrestling, fencing, karate and yoga in the 60's and continuing with Taoist Tai Chi® from 1971 and on, he has almost 50 years experience with Eastern and Western martial, spiritual and health arts. Entering the Rolf Institute in 1996, he became a Certified Rolfer® in 1998, and has practiced since then. During this period he studied at Dalhousie University and was awarded a B.Sc. (Psychology) in 2005 and a B.A. (History) in 2008. He is currently pursuing research at a Master's level. John has additional training in Cranio-Sacral Therapy® from the Upledger Institute, and in Trauma Intervention from the Atlantic School of Social Work.

Robin Stamm is hosting a unique yoga workshop to be given by Diane Long April 29-May 1 and May 6-8, 2016 in Halifax. "This approach to yoga demands a beginner’s mind, a childlike listening, an ability to trust in the wonder of being present with the body and breath. It is simple, as Vanda always said. We seem to forget how to be simple." Vanda Scaravelli developed an approach to yoga which is radically different from most forms of yoga taught today. Initially studying with Iyengar and Desikachar, she worked on her practice for forty years before acceping a small number of students.

Chareen graduated from Dalhousie University in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. After taking a few years to explore around the world Chareen moved back to Halifax and enrolled in the 2200 hour Massage Therapy Program at ICT Northumberland College. She has been a registered massage therapist with the Massage Therapists' Association of Nova Scotia (MTANS) since 2004. Chareen uses traditional Swedish massage techniques, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue massage, stretches, joint mobilization techniques, craniosacral techniques and traditional Chinese cupping. After additional training she has recently added Thai Yoga Massage and Indian Head Massage.
