In 1997 I started my 11-year tenure at Glubes Sound Studio in Dartmouth, NS. Here,I gained invaluable technical and creative experience. Glubes was, and continues to be, an independant Consumer Electronics boutique. They have a reputaion throughout Atlantic Canada for being among the most knowledgeable audio/video retailers in the industry. With my background in broadcasting, I became their advertising manager. I continually developed new advertising strategies, prepared print ads (using Quark, Illustrator, and Photoshop), wrote and produced radio ads, and built the company's website (first using NotePad and raw HTML - later using Dreamwaver and Flash). Because of my experience with computers (Mac / Win), I became the store's "IT guy". At the same time, my infatuation with technology made it easy for me to become one of the comapny's top sellers - designing and installing countless audio/video systems for both commercial and residential clients.
