The cornerstone of the present church was laid on November 4, 1928 in the new town of Fairview by the late D. Kennedy. It was built mostly by volunteer labour. The first service was held December 16, 1928. The Women’s Missionary Society was organized under the leadership of the late Mrs. Loggie in 1951. In 1952 Rev.
