Close Perkins & Hauta was founded in 1971 by Gary Close. Rod Perkins joined Gary in 1973. Robert Hauta joined the firm in 1977 with Michael Close to follow in 1993. Just recently Gary Close has decided to cut back his workload and partially retire with Amanda Bertoia joining the firm as a partner in 2011. Our goal is to build the practice based on a more "hands on" type of accounting firm.
