Discovered that Gillons had been over charging for premiums for several years. When I called them on it , they realized that that yes , my premiums were were in fact way out line. I estimate 30 to 40% too high. I am a 25 year customer of Gillons with my wife and I having ex. Driving records and only two claims in those 25 years. Gillons apologized over and over. " They should have caught it "and readily admitted they had dropped the ball and I had been passed around by eight different Gillons employees and as a result my premiums had risen unchecked. I said at one point it was my fault for not policing them. Gillons said no we are responsible for your premiums being too high. Their job is to find the right coverage at the best rate possible. They failed miserably at that by their own admission. They wanted to know how the could make things right? My answer " Gillons covers my premiums to compensate me for ADMITTED over payment ". Their response ,they are very very sorry that this happened , that they'd hate to loose us as customers. Their sorry , just not sorry enough to do what's right!!
