Tranquility Place, Indian River, ON

I have lived at Tranquility place for 2 years now and have nothing but good things to say about owner. she is a very caring person when it comes to the tenants. For the most part the tenants here enjoy the country life style being away from the city. Good place to live if you like to fit in and be part of the solution and not the problem. I give it 41/2 stars out of 5.

Lived here for 10 years and no problems Don’t know why anyone complains. Be part of the solution not the problem.

While visiting I noticed the landlady does make meals for holidays or birthdays but so what. My friend had difficulties getting in and out because the place the landlady calls a retirement home doesn’t have accessible doors with push buttons which is law especially for senior residents. Not quick to fix things when broken or not working. Out of all the residents there there may have only been a few who sat out for a bbq and that was because one told me they don’t drink and wasn’t made to feel included, pressured my one big older resident to drink and snarking when we wouldn’t. Too bad all truths aren’t told other than wow a birthday meal for everyone. Most seniors residence have meals, celebrate a residents birthday, has activities and in some places community outings, and most importantly, these places either have healthcare workers employed to help residents or residents can have them come in and they are even welcomed, they have easy accessible to the building with push button doors for people using walkers wheelchairs or canes. That’s some of what makes a special residence for seniors
