History Trade Exchange Canada (TEC) was created in April of 2002. It was started by Scott Berg and Wayne Edgar who had been owners of successful franchises in the Trade industry prior to starting Trade Exchange Canada. TEC was started because there was a need for a professionally run Trade company that was owned and based in Western Canada. Mission Trade Exchange Canada’s mission is a simple one. Our goal is to work with our exceptional clients to help them generate new Trade business and in turn help them reduce their cash expense to improve their cash bottom line. Trade Exchange Timeline 2002 - Trade Exchange Canada is established and brings on 200 new clients in the first month. 2006 - Trade Exchange Canada reached $50, 000, 000 in Trade transactions. 2007 - Trade Exchange Canada management awarded Top 40 under 40 award by Business in Vancouver. 2009 - Trade Exchange Canada is a finalist in the Burnaby Chamber of Commerce Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. 2012 - Trade Exchange Canada wins Consumers Choice Award for Business Excellence for 10th year in a row. 2012 - Trade Exchange Canada reaches $100, 000, 000 in Trade volume.
