Ideally located in Peterborough’s desirable north end, The Village on Argyle is your affordable solution to student dorm accommodations for Trent University, Sir Sanford Fleming College, and Trillium College students. We are perfectly situated on 6.3 acres in a beautiful park setting just south of Trent University. Getting around is a breeze as we are right on the campus transit line and within walking distance to the downtown core. The Village on Argyle offers private or shared room packages to meet the needs of any full or part-time student.

In Sept of 2010 The Village on Argyle was warmly welcomed to the neighbourhood at a function in which many of those who live in the immediate area happily attended. Formal words of welcome were brought by community leaders and the TVOA staff were introduced to the neighbours. This was the beginning of an on-going close relationship between the community and The Village on Argyle.

We work in close ties with the Maxama Protection and the Peterborough Lakefield Community Police Service so as to maintain a safe and convenient place to study, socialize, and rest while in Peterborough. TVOA works closely with the Peterborough & Kawartha's Tourism and the Greater Peterborough Area Economic Development Corporation providing information, short term lodging, venue rental, and food services for visitors to the area, especially during the summer months.

TVOA is also working closely with the Trent International Program and Places4Students.com in providing housing for University and College students while they study in Peterborough. In this last academic year TVOA has provided housing and food services for students from Trent University, Fleming College, and the Arrowsmith School. Further, TVOA is a member of the Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce. TVOA is also home to Master’s College and Seminary. Students and staff at MCS enjoy sharing our facility with the students from other colleges and university.
