Timepiece, Cookstown, ON

I have had several dealings with Bogdan, owner-operator of Timepiece Watch and Clock Repair in Cookstown. Entering his shop you are immediately transported back in time. Located in an historical building on main street, this is a wonderful place to experience. Bogdan is extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the watches and clocks he sells and repairs. His work is above reproach. In my experience I found him to be honest and trustworthy going out of his way to provide excellent service for all that enter his shop at a very reasonable price! My watch and clock he serviced run like the day they were made. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending his services.

My wife and I found Bogdan to be extremely knowledgeable and efficient when it came to repairing our clock and watches. Watch batteries can usually be done right on the spot and at little cost compared to jewellery stores. Our grandfather clock was refurbished by him and is running well. The store is just like a clock museum and you could spend hours there just admiring all the clocks and memorabilia in the store.Additionally he also does jewellery repairs. Very nice and pleasant man, but I had a repair done and somehow had damage done to the face of my watch which was attempted to be repaired but actually was butchered and spray painted. 2 weeks later my vintage automatic watch stopped working and I could not get the hands to even turn. A wait of 2 months in the work shop and a terrible outcome. I did not like the fact that a family heirloom is ruined. Ended up costing me 769$ at omega downtown Toronto to repair his damage.
