Timbuktu Business Club of Alberta is the forum that brings the best and brightest business minds of our community together with a common goal of succeeding in realizing our dreams – TOGETHER. Our philosophy is to re-create the former glory that is associated with Africa and Timbuktu in particular. After all, Civilization started on the banks of the Nile and we will continue that mercantile prosperity on the banks of the Rivers Saskatchewan, Athabasca, McKenzie and Bow in this land of a thousand lakes.
We are the mouth-piece, a united and central communications group, for African Canadian organisations that impacts policies at all levels of government.
We promote and sustain a healthy entrepreneurial culture by introducing it at the early childhood learning phase, and providing a mentorship service to encourage the youth. We would like to tell our children that they can before someone tells them they can’t! We also aim to build or establish the first African Canadian School of entrepreneurship in Canada.
