We all usually start with packing. This involves choosing the right supplies for the job. Usually small double walled boxes are perfect for glass, china, delicates and breakables.
Small to medium boxes work well for dishes, books, and other 'a touch more delicate or heavy than usual' items. We don't use large boxes for books because they may cause too much weight and fall through the botton, and/or damage or crush other boxes beneath them.
Medium boxes work well for lamp shades, other meticulous items that are too weird and awkward to be put in the large boxes.
