Thompson Machine has been providing quality engine building services on Vancouver Island since 1972. We machine, rebuild, and overhaul automotive, industrial, and marine motors. We do gas, propane, and diesel engines. Thompson Machine can custom rebuild your motor for your individual requirements, or supply custom engine machining and motor parts at wholesale prices for your project. Our tooling includes the ability to bore and sleeve engine blocks, resize connecting rods, crankshaft grinding, camshaft grinding, decking blocks, align honing and much more. We rebuild both cast iron and aluminum cylinder heads, including 3 angle and up to 5 angle performance valve grinds. We re-sleeve valve guides, resurface cylinder heads, pressure test cylinder heads, and reface rocker arms. Thompson Machine also does custom and high performance engine balancing and "blueprinting", as well as driveshaft shortening, driveshaft balancing, and driveshaft re-tubing.
