The creative force behind the design company “this is it” originates from the talents and expertise of Robert Studer and Beth Hawthorn. In 1996 the two pooled their energies and embarked on a journey to create original works of art and design which would be exhibited and sold across the globe. Rob and Beth predominantly work in glass, along with other materials, to produce a broad spectrum of works ranging from large architectural sculptures, public art, functional products, lighting, contemporary craft, exhibition design and curation, as well as brand envisioning and graphic design.
